On a perfect drive heading north on HW-149 through central Colorado, I came across this scene. I stopped, made a sandwich and just stared out over this valley for sometime. The line from the movie “Field of Dreams” came to mind, “Is this heaven? No, it’s Iowa.” But in this case it’s Colorado.
